Pastor Ponnala Completes Training in Telangana State, South India
What a blessing to share with you all pictures of the first completed Project Transformation Training Workshop in Telangana State, India 27-28 May 2022. Pastor Ponnala did a great job of organizing the workshop. We look forward to celebrating with the completion of four additional workshops Pastor Ponnala already has scheduled in other parts of India in the next few weeks.

Kenya Project TransformationTraining Workshops
Pastor Obadiah Alubisia Completes Training at First Baptist Church Mumias, Kenya
Thank you UTN team for giving me the opportunity to share in the vision you have for the church and gospel in Africa. As for 31 trainees at First Baptist church Mumias, are church planters, leaders, and community opinion leaders who serve the Muslim community among the Wanga people. As a response to the prevalent radical Islam in the area, we have planted 5 house churches and these trainees will be praying to plant 15 more secret house churches for families that cannot express their Christian faith in public for security issues. I want to let you know that the Project Transformation curriculum is God-sent to this community and resonates well with social circumstances in the community. The trainees will be working in groups of three to five people from next week in the implementation of the project. I will be meeting with these various groups on regular basis to review their work and for encouragement. I will be providing you with emails and phone contacts of each of these groups once they are formed for you to be able to directly encourage them as you requested in your email.
I do have five more distant locations to do similar training. I do need to move with urgency to train the poor community of West Pokot. As you know the Pokot are considered unreached communities. It is a pastoral community that still struggles with basic needs like shelter, food, education, and clothing. It is an area that also has serious insecurity issues due to piracy and brigands in the area. Since it is a large area, there is a need to do such training in the district of Halale and Kapenguria in West Pokot respectively. West Pokot is my mission destination area as I embark on home missions away from my pastoral duties at First Baptist Church Mumias. In my plan, I pray to do the first projection transformation church plant in these areas of West Pokot and one in Nandi as I train others. I will have three more places to train among the Nandi tribe in a great rift valley.
As you requested in your email I am praying for the following locations as scheduled below. Because of the cost of traveling I will only invite 17 trainees to each training listed below
Kapenguria (West Pokot)-June 29th -30th 2022
Halale (700KM AWAY)-West Pokot-July 11th -12th 2022
Chepsiochi-Rift Valley (Nandi)-July 27th -28th 2022
Mugen-Nandi-August 03th-04th 2022
Shaviringa-the Tirik-August 10th-11th 2022

Pastor Obadia Albusia Completes Additional Training Workshops in Kenya
The West Pokot, Mugen and Chepsioch UTN trainings have been successfully done. Mugen and Chepsioch in Nandi being prior to the time scheduled because of the urgent information contained bellow. The West Pokot concluded trainings inspired a request from the chiefs and community elders for four more trainings and possible church plant in process far north of West Pokot. Pokot is a very vast country bordering the Turkana in south and Uganda in west. As I was training in Halale district, the chiefs and the elders who were present in training made an irresistible passionate plea for a move to do four more training towards the Pokot families living very remotely at the two northern and Western borders. They recommended to me the following places:Lomut, Orwa, Magus and Lotongot . These are pastoral groups and conflict areas due to illegal fire arms across the borders and cattle rustling. The four areas are known for battles between the Turkanas and the Pokots over scarce resources like water, grassland and cattle. If possible, approve my application for the four areas with urgency because we are fixing our training plans there for all the four centers as from 12h -18th July. These are the dates time the Pokot chiefs through the government networks will be able to secure some security personnel for my team working in place. After 17th of July the security to help us may not be available for us because they will be concentrating more on elections. These missions I know will open a door into the larger Turkana community. As a consequence I did adjust the previous trainings dates into to seize the Pokot opportunity of government providing security for us in war volatile areas. The Chepsioch Nandi training scheduled on 7th-8th July was successfully conducted on 1st to 2nd on July though the attendance was far beyond the estimated numbers . The Mugeni (Nandi) training was successfully conducted on 4th and 5th July, was just concluded yesterday. I moved the Mugeni training to Kajulu in Kisumu county because the area borders Kisumu and these helped me to bring the two centers made up of the two communities, Luo and Nandi in one place. The Kisumu had requested for training, I brought them and their neighbors Mugeni together at Kajulu Church of Peace of Africa for training. The Shaviringa dates from 22-23 July remain as scheduled but the Inanga (Uganda) training is reschudled backward on 26th-27th July.
