The Unfinished Task Network

The Unfinished Task Network is a catalyst for holistic  church planting that results in transformed lives, communities, and people groups.

There are currently 7,041 unreached people groups in the world.
Even more disturbing, no one is even attempting to engage half of them.

The Unfinished Task Network equips Christian church planters, trainers and local congregations to plant indigenous churches that become bases for community transformation among the unreached people groups they adopt.

Project Transformation Training Update

(March 24, 2023) Having received the most recent reports from Project Transformation trained pastors Robert and Obadiah, both located in Kenya, we are excited to share that in the past 15 months approximately 1,000 pastors, church leaders, and local community leadership in South Asia and East Africa have been trained in the Project Transformation training material by these two pastors and others in Kenya and India. Additionally, many of these have gone on to train others in their specific areas of ministry. There are many who are in very hostile areas, so we are choosing to not publicize the exact locations for safety and security concerns.

We are excited about how God continues to expand the reach of The Gospel as churches actively engage their communities using the biblical principals detailed in Project Transformation.

a video message from one of our founders, Dr. Dane fowlkes, PhD

“... [So] that we may preach the gospel in lands beyond you, without boasting of work already done in another’s area of influence.”  2 Corinthians 10:16

equip

Clearly, much work is left to do to finish the task set forth by Jesus Christ himself more than two thousand years ago.

The UTN sees the indigenous local church as the proper and best agent of holistic church planting movements.   For too long the church has relinquished to governments and non-government organizations (NGOs) her responsibility and opportunity for community transformation.    UTN equips Christian church planters, trainers, and local congregations to plant indigenous churches that become bases for community transformation.

Contact us   if you are currently or planning   to engage in church planting among the unreached or unevangelized.

encourage

UTN incorporates  trained church planters into regional networks for ongoing encouragement through regular interaction with the UTN Global Leadership Team and other network members. Regional networks serve as caring, inclusive communities that encourage leaders to endure and persevere.

In this way, we seek to equip & encourage church planters and church leaders as a process rather than a program.

The Unfinished Task Network prepares individuals to engage in church planting among their own people and cross-culturally among other people groups.  It costs $500 to underwrite a Project Transformation Training Workshop.  However, a gift  of any amount    will assist with the vital work of facilitating holistic church planting among the least reached people around the world. Please consider making a one-time gift or sending monthly support to make this training possible.  Your gift is tax deductible and will have a lasting impact among the world's least reached people groups.
